Protein Intake Diabetes
Tuesday, April 20th, 2010Whey Protein Shakes type 1 diabetes?
I was a Type 1 diabetic for about 10 years, I am 21 years old. In last month or two, I take protein shakes after a few exercises to help my muscle growth. It is a protein shake low carb sweetener artificial (sucralose) in it. I had no problem until recently – the last two I took the time to drink protein, I was urinating every 5 minutes for about 2 hours after the quake. I tried to reduce my consumption of only half shake snacks that I took too. I just had a ball (About 10-20 grams of whey protein) and I was up peeing a lot, and pee smelled disgusting too. My blood sugar in the blood have been very good when I check fairly often, but not affect the protein drink on my back or maybe give me some kind of evil? This is not without shaking, and I stopped taking it because I'm worried. What is the problem? Can anyone help?
is possible the shock has a diuretic in it? If your blood sugar is so the pee is probably not the reaction sugar. If the powder has a diuretic effect, so your pee feel bad because you become dehydrated, maybe you'll need to drink your shake, and drink plenty water too. Ketones and lactic acid can make your pee smell, being diabetic you have problems sometimes ketones and exercise creates lactic acid.
