Car Donation Diabetes
Fundraising, everyone?

My son has type 1 diabetes and I'm doing the Walk for Diabetes by the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and I'm looking for ideas for fundraising, other than the originals, writing letters, bake sale, watching cars, a silent auction. Looking for something unique. My donation link is below if anyone wants to help me. Thank you! http:// walk.jdrf.org / walker.cfm? id = 87029651

We held a spaghetti dinner for the local JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes. It is easier than you think … – Find a caterer who works for the cost (the only tricky part) – Find a room that can be given (large messages are legion) – Find a DJ you donate its services (or work for a discount). – Print your own event tickets on a color printer – Find a baker (cakes) Balloon (if you want), florist, supermarket (for paper products, utensils, tablecloths) We also coordinated theme baskets for raffles. They liked it so high, he brought in most of our funds. We had a basket of sports "W / event tickets, autographed memorabilia, etc.; Travel basket, basket home improvement … We made posters of drawing baskets and sold tickets before the event (and at event) to maximize donations. We made $ 5,000 our first year and I look forward to doing so again this year next. Giving Cart average circulation hitting the pavement. Many writing letters, phone calls and emails. But for all the 10 refusals, you will see a large donation. It's worth it. Especially if you have others to help you. It was also very rewarding. You will not regret it.
