How much vitamin D per day should I take?
I recently had a blood AC1 primarily for diabetes. This criterion was good cholesterol was in good beaches. Vitamin D levels were low (28 and the range should be 32 – 100). How much vitamin D day should I take to fill the gap? 45, F. calcium, sodium, potassium, chloride, carbon dioxide, all within normal limits. Can not enter the doc to examine recent results for 3 weeks so I was just wondering how much vitamin DI need to take now. I bought 2000 IU
Your doctor should prescribe a certain amount of vitamin D or at least make a recommendation. My vitamin D levels were much lower than yours! He was 12 years, lol. He prescribed a pill 50,000 units per week for 12 weeks. Talk to your doctor, they will be able to tell you exactly according to your weight and age and other factors. * I have heard other people with diabetes in general to take about 50,000 units per week if you are deficient.
