Diabetes Liver Glucose

What would happen if …?
Is it possible to have both your liver and pancreas function properly, but not in sync? Is this diabetes? What I mean is that if the pins of the liver with an appropriate amount of glucose and the pancreas to pin a quantity appropriate insulin to take care of her, but the pancreas is a little late to react, or the liver does not remedy a failure "to the pancreas when it releases too much insulin when it should. Instead, it waits a while before it does nothing to correct the situation. Is this possible?
Not that I ever heard, but I'm sure there are some exceptions to the rule are one day a few endocrinologists more interesting. By the way, I HATE endocrinology!
