Diabetes Foot

I need info on what to do if you accidentally wear pantyhose foot warmers and you have diabetes and now opensores
I just wanted to give some information to my mother, cuz she feels terrible because she has such hot sticky feet on my stepfather for help keep your feet warm, and now he has a big wound that will not heal. He has diabetes. Yes, they have been to the doc. but it's just always taking to heal. Is there any info I can print on this particular issue to better educate them?
Firstly, because the doctor was the first right step to take to deliver the healing process has begun. As I'm sure your father knows, recovery is often diminished in diabetics, so that the process may be slow and painful. Keep the wound clean and medication (as directed by the physician) and occurring as expected. If you are still concerned about the healing / status of injury / infection, ask your doctor to recommend the most near the center of wound care. Most hospitals have them. Someone who will certainly be able to help your father get back on its feet! Good luck and best wishes …
