What are blood tests Shall I at 16 weeks of pregnancy?
Friday is my second visit … im hoping that I'll find sex, but I bet I wont know til my 20th week appointment. anyway I just want to know what kind of tests I get blood in my 16th week. will I get another CBC? urine test? diabetes test? test this syndrome? etc.?
If they will give you a blood test at 16 weeks, usually one that tests if your baby could possibly have Down syndrome and other diseases. This is not the most conclusive test. I have passed this test. You will have an ultrasound or about 20 weeks. Most doctors will not do it much sooner than that because they want the baby is highly developed and large enough to see all the small parts they want to discuss. They'll tell you in advance for your appointment if you meet ultrasound. You give a urine sample at each visit unique. Your diabetes testing will be approximately 28 weeks, and your doctor will know in advance. At the end of each visit, ask your doctor what to expect at the next visit so that you can prepare.
